Our Scooter

Scooter, aka Sammy, may not be our little scooter much longer. He's enjoying walking more and more. Last week at Hug Point near Cannon Beach, OR, he took his first steps with the encouragement of Grandpa Mike. It was more of a pivot, actually, because he would only step with his right foot (the foot that leads when scooting). Then, that weekend Uncle Jeff and Aunt Brooke came up for a quick visit. Good thing too, because Uncle Jeff was the perfect boot camp sargeant! He had Sammy walking all over the place and he loved it! Here's a little movie of what it was like.



Today, Labor Day, he climbed all the way up the ladder to the slide! It's awesome, however, this means I won't be able to send he and Ben out to play alone. I caught him falling off the ladder numerous times. Enter bruised toddler phase...
