Flossing and Brushing

Ben learned of the valuable reward that comes from brushing and flossing, and we didn't even have to teach it to him! Yesterday in the mail, Ben had a big envelope. He opened it up and it was a certificate with his picture; "Grand Prize No Cavity Club Winner", it read. What we didn't see right away was the $25 Target gift card inside! We went last night. Ben picked out new Superhero underwear (okay, okay, I made him do that, but they're still cool!), and he had $15 left to buy a toy. He picked two motorcycles and the guys that ride on them. They light up, have removable helmets, all the bells and whistles. When we got home last night, even though it was past 8:00, Nate showed him a Youtube video of some dirtbike racers so that he would know how to play with them. Ben slept with them and everything! It's nice to know that when I remind Ben to floss tonight, he'll have some external motivation as well!

On another note, both boys were up at 4:45 this morning. And, if that's not bad enough, Daylight Saving's Time is coming up in two days, meaning they could be waking up at 3:45! Oh boy.
