One year ago, January 20, Levi came bungee-cord jumping/sky diving/swan diving into our lives - quite literally. (See birth story here). And what an incredible blessing his life has been for all of us! Every day he makes all of us burst into laughter and smiles. At dinner, he is often what we focus on the most, as he entertains us with silly faces and new words.
Like most birthdays around here, we kept Levi's first one simple by inviting family. With wonderful cousins, grandmas and grandpas, a great-grandma, aunties and uncles, who could ask for anything more, really? Well, except for maybe some cake. Oh and some wrapping paper - I mean gifts!

Can't you just eat him up?
All the cousins!
Our friends James and Yun helped us celebrate Levi's actual birthday
with a trip to Multomah Falls
Look at that chubby face!

Here's a few more of my favorite shots of Levi from the last few months, as well as a few stats:
- Levi can now say, "Momma, Da (Daddy), Bubu (byebye), Yah, and No
- He is a speedy crawler! He can crawl across the room almost as fast as I can walk. I'll need to post pictures. This makes me stare at him all the time, as I think he resembles a sweet little bear cub.
- He still takes 2 great naps and gets up maybe once each night.
- He is still a big boy statistically speaking: 95th percentile for height, 75th for weight and 75th for head size.
- One of my favorite moments of the day is when Levi wakes up. "Mom, MOM, Levi's awake! Levi's awake!" comes the call from the older two. The 3 of us sneak into the room and peak in on Levi. "Levi, Leviiiiii, you awake?" We are greeted with a gigantic smile and all is right with the world - my 3 buddies are around me. God is good!
We love you, little buddy!
